I've actually wanted to get into some sort of RP community, mostly to flex my creative muscles. Then I started reading the wiki and realized you needed my help. So if you want me, I'll be hiding deep within the wiki, slowly editing and adding, as the need arises. I think I have my work cut out for me!

As for the forum, where should I start? Any tips, pointers, or suggestions?

You can start off wherever you like; roving the the OOC, playing around a little down in the Otherworld boards, or you can head straight into the main RP. You won't actually be able to post in the main RP boards until you have a character approved for them, though (and if you get one approved and still can post, make sure to say something).

With either of the RP areas, it's generally good to see about joining something that's already running (for some, you may need to ask first), or to see if there's any interest in joining you with something else, somewhere else.

Seems I'll do some major lurking of the main RP boards, to get a feel for how others play it. During that time, I should probably work on setting up a character, too. I'll hang around in the OOC boards, too. I'm sure I'll have plenty to do, as I browse up and down the board relentlessly.

I plan to read through the wiki from Acri to Zeretanis Astimus, but that will take a while. (Especially since there's doubles of certain pages, like the Airship Extravaganza, and Sentient/Sentience, and the four Community Characters pages) All in all, I'll probably be an expert at this stuff when I'm done!

Seems the "Double pages" are just redirects, but it still clutters up my favorite page. Ces't la vie, eh?

Yeah, and there's bound to be plenty more redirects to come. ^^; Sorry, it's not really intended for those who just want to go through all the pages. But, hey, at least that means you have less to read through than you thought, aye?

My advice is to RP your way through the world as you Wiki it, like a traveling researcher. I've done that a bit, and it's really a fun way of doing it.
